The first glimpse I caught of the Eiffel Tower it didn't seem different at all. It just registered as an ordinary building or as if I'd seen it before. I had to consciously tell myself that I'd never seen this or been to Paris. This wasn't an ordinary part of my life....it was the Eiffel Tower.
